We only have one confirmed volunteer in the nursery this Sunday. We need one more for first service and two for second service. Please let Christy Callahan know if you can serve in either service this Sunday ASAP.

Thank you to all youth,youth parents and church members who made the youth pancake breakfast a big success! Thanks to all the donations and generous givers we raised close to $600 for this event.

Missouri Music Men, in concert at Salem Avenue Baptist Church, March 14th at 7:00 p.m. No admission, but a love offering will be taken. This group of men from across the state sing and play many different instruments, including handbells. Join us for a fun night of music!

Salem Avenue is having services this morning. At present, there is snow on the ground and in the sky, but the roads in town are drivable. Please use discretion if you venture out. If conditions change, we will update this post. We hope to see you at services at 8:30 or 11:00 a.m. and at Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. If you stay in, we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday. Above all, be safe.

As of right now, all morning services are still scheduled for Salem Avenue Baptist. We will be closely monitoring weather conditions and will update as needed. PLEASE use your discretion about getting out.

All regular Wednesday activities at SABC are a GO for tonight! Awana/Youth, Bible Study will be held as normal!

We are having all regular Sunday services today, February 17. Be advised there may be some slick spots on the parking lot, so use your best discretion today.

Update about tonight's activites: Youth Council Meeting is at 4:30 p.m. Missions Team Meeting is at 4:30 p.m. Deacon's Meeting is postponed till next Sunday, February 17th at 5:00 p.m. Choir practice is moved up to 5:00 p.m., today. The movie, Paul: The Apostle is still on tonight at 6:00 p.m.

Morning services and Sunday School has been CANCELLED at Salem Avenue for this morning due to a sheet of ice on the parking lot. Please stay in and be safe. Enjoy some extra time in the scriptures with your family or some private worship time, today. Evening activities are yet to be determined.

There will be no evening activities tonight (Wednesday, January 30, 2019) due to the extreme cold. Church offices will be open until 4:00 p.m., along with Food Pantry and Shoe Closet. Stay inside and stay warm!!!

As of right now, we are planning to have services as usual tomorrow morning. If there are weather changes overnight, we will notify everyone early. As always, use your discretion about coming to church if you are uncomfortable driving on the roads. We want you to be safe!
